Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Last Updated: June 6, 2026
Your right to opt out
Compare Legal Software does not sell personal information for money. Under the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), some of our use of cookies and advertising tags — such as the Meta Pixel and Google Analytics — may qualify as “sharing” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. California residents have the right to opt out of that sharing, and you can do that here.
How to submit your opt-out request
You have a few options:
- Email us. Send a message to info@comparelegalsoftware.com with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share.” Include the email and phone number you submitted on our form so we can locate your record.
- Send a Global Privacy Control signal. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal. When your browser sends GPC, we treat it as an opt-out of sharing for that browser and device.
- Adjust your browser settings. You can disable third-party cookies in your browser, which will block most of the advertising cookies covered by this opt-out.
We will process your request within 15 business days. We will not require you to create an account in order to opt out, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising this right.
What an opt-out does not do
Opting out of sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising will not stop us from:
- Sending your form submission to the vendor partners you selected on the comparison form. That is the core service you signed up for, not advertising.
- Using basic analytics that help us understand how the site is performing in the aggregate.
- Responding to your questions and providing customer support.
If you also want to stop being contacted by us or by a vendor partner, see the “Communications consent” section of our Privacy Policy for the steps to take.
Authorized agents
You may use an authorized agent to submit an opt-out request on your behalf. We will ask the agent for written proof of authorization and may still contact you to confirm the request.
Other privacy rights
California residents have additional rights, including the right to know, delete, and correct personal information. See our CCPA Notice for a full description and instructions.
